A FIVE DAY COURSE PROVIDING:
HANDS ON SAILING INSTRUCTION & THEORETICAL SEAMANSHIP
AIM: The RYA Day Skipper Course is intended to provide the candidate with sufficient practical experience, navigation, pilotage and safety to safely skipper a small cruising yacht during daylight and at night.
Time is spent both on the boat and in the classroom planning passages, and students will become completely proficient with navigation.
Successful candidates will be issued with the RYA Day Skipper Certificate.

Candidates will be expected to supply suitable exposure protection, a life jacket will be provided. Hats and gloves, especially if the weather is poor, are recommended.
